WE NEED MORE ABRAHAMS (PODCAST)

October 29th, 2020

Three weeks before he died, the late Novominsker Rebbe released a 2-minute video offering sturdy guidance for the Haredi community reeling from the early ravages of the coronavirus pandemic.

But rather than follow in his footsteps, following his death from COVID-19, the leadership that replaced him has been notably absent and remarkably out-of-touch with their leadership responsibilities.

The result has been tragic: the wholesale rejection of basic lifesaving measures, far too many unnecessary deaths, and even street protests against local government coronavirus regulations led by rabble-rousers and charlatans.

Rabbi Dunner recalls the superb faith leadership of the late Novominsker Rebbe, and correlates it with the qualities of our forefather Abraham, as evidenced at the beginning of Lech Lecha.
