One of the features of Temple worship was the elaborate clothes worn by the priests, and particularly the High Priest.
Like many features of the Temple, the purpose of these special garments is not presented to us in any great detail, and one is left wondering why the priests were uniquely required to don special vestments while performing their Temple duties.
In this shiur Rabbi Dunner explores the descriptive terms used by the Torah when discussing the priestly garments, and will share insights from a range of sources that shed light on this much overlooked topic.
