THE ESCHATOLOGY OF TESHUVA

September 6th, 2018

In Parshat Nitzavim (Deut. 30), Moses shares a prophecy concerning the “end of days”, the only such prophecy in the Torah.

The prophecy is infused with references to Teshuva, a word that lends itself to multiple meanings, but which is usually translated as repentance.

Rabbi Dunner presents multiple interpretations of this unique passage, using Abarbanel, Ohr Hachaim, Haamek Davar, and a remarkable piece by Rav Kook in his seminal work, Orot.
