THE CODEX SASSOON REVEALED
The Codex Sassoon is undoubtedly one of the most important religious manuscripts to have ever been discovered. Handwritten over 1,000 years ago, it is an almost complete, meticulously accurate record of the 24 books of the Hebrew scriptures – one of only 3 such codexes in existence. Rabbi Dunner interviews Sharon Mintz and Shaul Seidler-Feller, curators of the Codex Sassoon’s display in Beverly Hills, in anticipation of its sale by auction at Sotheby’s.
