MINDING YOUR OWN BUSINESS

The Ten Commandments are the most important mitzvot in the Torah, not least because they were communicated personally by God at Mount Sinai to each and every member of the Jewish nation. All of the commandments of the Decalogue fit the bill, representing the headline values of faith and morality — except for the last one, which forbids envy.

How is this prohibition up there with idol-worship and murder? Why is it even included in the Ten Commandments?
