COMMANDED TO LOVE?

Sefer Devarim is totally different in style and content to the other four books of the Torah. Significantly, it is the only book of the Torah that places a strong stress on the concept of “love”.

We are instructed to “love” God, and in Parshat Eikev Moses tells us that this is what God wants from us most of all.
